Today was uneventful. But these prairies are turning into hills.
Overnight was exciting - unfortunately our fella on watch was not paying as much attention as he should have been, as he thought the giant bat-mosquitoes were possibly horse flies! I was woken to one of the beasts biting me and trying to drink me dry. I managed to smack it dead, right as it got me. I feared myself dead, but luckily Vorest has healing magic and managed to bring me back - after they destroyed the other monsters!
