12th of Ches, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

We are still in the forest. All of a sudden it grew quiet, and a web shot out between Vandederp and myself. To the side was a creepy bug, grey-purple, shaped like a person, but with a bug head and pincers for hands. Vorest said it was an ettercap. The remainder of the day was uneventful.

During the night, during Vorest's watch, we were attacked by kobolds (I am learning to strongly dislike these pests) and some flying kobolds. Those might have been fun if I could have gotten up a tree at them!

Today we ran into a pack of kobolds - they appear to not like the sun. I managed to kill one, I don't know why I am fighting so poorly! It is so very frustrating. Perhaps I need to meditate a bit.

30th of Alturiak, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

Today, I left the monastery. I met a couple of adventurers that were willing to travel north with me, so that I can learn about the ki connection to Asmodeus. During dinner, a wood elf joined us.

We left town, as the townsfolk were afraid of me. We took turns for watch and during mine the townsfolk started banging a gong and yelling "Raiders!" I feared they were coming for us, so I woke the others. After a time, it appeared that they were in danger and we rushed to see if we could assist.

The town, which was on fire, was run over by tiny dragon men. One had stolen a child - which was not right at all. We defeated them, and I saved the child. I do not even believe the mother was fearful of me when she retrieved the child from me.

The innsman invited us to stay at the inn for the remainder of the night. I believe this is a good town, Grom, and I should like to see it again.

P.S. The townsfolk said the tiny dragon-men were kobolds.
