23rd of Marpenoth, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

 We see two cyclops herding a bunch of giant goats. We manage to avoid them. We reach Channeth Gate. There are guards at the gates demanding to know our business. When we tell them we are just passing through, they warn us about roving bands of yuan'ti. We go to an inn, the Disintegrating Albatross. The people here are quite angry and concerned. They are shouting about the yuan'ti attacks. It sounds like the yuan'ti attacks are more common here, or are at least increasing from what we've heard previously.

22nd of Marpenoth, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

 We continue. The trail is harder to see than yesterday. We enter a small forest, and see an arrow hit a tree near us. It has a note "You are a fool for looking." 

21st of Marpenoth, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

 We travel along and see the farm that was mentioned last night. Vondal mentions that he sees snake trails while he is out looking for the farm animals. The tracks appear to be going east, like us, so we decide to use the path to continue on. We get to a river, with a bridge. We re-find our trail on the other side, but it looks like it joins a whole bunch of other trails. We choose one, and continue on. 

We run across an old man, he asks us "What kind of ear cannot hear?" Vondal exclaims "An ear of corn!" The fellow pulls out a horn, and passes it to Vondal, and then vanishes. How odd.
