I found her! I found Jasna! She is real! She is an Outer-Planes scholar, so she should be able to tell me something new! I am so excited! She agreed to sit with me this afternoon and teach me about tieflings. Tomorrow, we shall talk about Asmodeus.
Jasna tells me that tieflings are considered "planes-touched" which basically means that a being from the outer-planes (such as a devil or demon) interbred with a human. There are more than just tieflings, there are aasimar, d'hin'ni, fay'ri, tanarukk, the list goes on and on. Though tieflings are slightly more interesting because they don't NEED to be the result of interbreeding, basically dealing with the devil will cause your offspring to be a tiefling.
I summarize what I know, because I don't really want her to tell me everything that I know again. She mentions how she is curious what my children would look like, because I am a teifling, and teiflings have tiefling children, but I have also initiated at my monastery, and that seems to be part of Asmodeus's deal. But I have no interest in having children, so let's hope this thought stays academic! And I can't believe that no tiefling ever has dabbled with the devils.
Asmodeus is considered the "unquestioned" ruler of the 9 hells of Baator. Rumour has it that he instigates any fights needed before his opponents are ready to fight him, so they can't get the advantage. Because of this, people have tried to make him a god, but it has yet to work. The last effort was the Time of Troubles.
She also mentions that when people dies, they get judged in the astral planes, and if they aren't good, they belong to the devil. Tieflings aren't inherently bad, but their parents may be bound for the devil, if they dealt with them.
There isn't too much new, a few details, but I am excited for tomorrow, and learning about Asmodeus.
