9th of Kythorn, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

The innkeep suggests a smithy "Mitévra Smithy." We head over since Vandederp's sword is one of the biggest reasons that we are here.

The smithy is a minotaur, with some sort of holy symbol and complains about adventurers wanting "magic weapons." Vandederp says, but MY sword! She finally offers to look at it. She looks and then admires it, saying that she might be able to do something grand with it, IF Vandederp is willing to sacrifice. He says yes, of course, and she announces that her shop is closed and brandy should be brought out. Iogi closes up and grabs the brandy.

Mitévra asks if we've heard of Brunghild the Everlasting. We say no, and she starts telling us about frost giants, who normally worship Thrym (god of frost giants and cold). Sometimes the giants are sought out by Vaprak, with dreams. If the giants sound willing, then Vaprak will send a troll to be eaten. When the troll is eaten, the frost giant gets the troll benefits, and it is everlasting.

Brunghild was one of these and the leader of her group - until it was discovered that she worshipped Vaprak, and was kicked out.

Mitévra wants a gallon of Brunghild's blood. She points out where she believes Brunghild lives. After that, it will be 10 weeks of work, that Vandederp needs to help with.

We continue shopping. Vorest gets some armour and Vondal buys some oil to help make Brunghild flammable.
