We wake up, hoping to be able to continue. The people who had been caught by the slavers also start waking up, and there is a bit of awareness in their eyes, even if they don't seem to have any understanding of what has happened - something has happened. They ask after the snake people - they call them Yuan-ti. They say that they have no awareness of what has happened - the last day they are aware of is the 2nd of Marpenoth. They tell us they were from the north, and that they had been caught because the Yuan-ti had come as a religious group, claiming passage to heaven. They go on their way. They take the Yuan-ti's swords, both as defence, and possibly something that they can sell for money and food. We wish them good travels.
We pack up our things and continue on our way. It's a nice day, and we aren't attacked by anything - perhaps we'll make up some time.
