We travel along and we hear a huge animal bellow. And then metal grinding sounds. What an odd combination! Vorest is already rushing to the bellow, and we crest a rise and see a giant lizard with a clubby tail being attacked by a metal bull. We join the fight to help save the lizard, but it is difficult - he doesn't seem to understand that we are trying to help him. Vorest has the most luck, as she turned into one so she wouldn't get attacked by him as well.
We manage to kill the metal bull, but the lizard did not fair as well, and was turned into a stone statue. We also have a bit of a problem since our horses have run off - which is good - I think the bull was attacking them as well. We chase after the horses, and manage to catch them, and bring them back. Vorest insists on a ceremony to honour the lizard, since she can't heal him, and she is devastated by this. Vondal is angry, he wants to leave, and thinks it is pointless to give a death ceremony to an animal - especially one that hurt him. Vorest tries to be quick, and makes a flower wreath and prays for it. It was neat watching her make the flowers bloom.
We continue on, the remainder of the day passed easily.
