We wake up. Vondal is a bit unhappy about being in a tree. Vorest is completely happy. 7 Thundercloud gets us and says Chief White Lily will see us. We get to a gathering and see 20 or so tabaxi. They are looking at us like prey - this definitely don't feel friendly. We explain that we want scouts, people to see what can be seen. 7 Thundercloud speaks up and mentions that we went to get the poor tabaxi shepherd's remains - Bluestream. We shove Vandederp forward, but he refuses. Vorest sighs, and steps up.
They don't look convinced, but 7 Thundercloud and Vermillianleaf. We thank them and continue.
We approach a glade and a dryad, Sûliana, approaches us. She greets Vorest. Vorest explains what we are hoping. The dryad is doubtful but mentions if we help her, she may be convinced. There is a spring that needs cleaning.
We reach the head, and the water looks gross. There's a wastrilith in there and it grabs Vorest and drags her in the water. I dive in, and we fight. Fighting underwater is really hard! Vondal manages to get the monster on the surface and Vandederp kills it. We drag the corpse out and Vondal jumps back down. He comes back up with some treasures. We deal with some corruption, and turn it into dust. We return to the treants.
They are awake. The trees and the dryads are happy. They give us a charm. The treants agree to help us. We stop for the night. During the night we are attacked by malacens and dragonborn. After the fight, Vorest is acting really weird, like she's angry at beyond belief. She expresses anger at them, and says she doesn't know why she's angry.
