Vanderderp wakens to the stone again. Surprised to see him so far away and tells him he'll enjoy killing him. Vandederp answers Okay.
We see the trees of Amlar. It takes forever to reach them, it's like walking to mountains! We see a flight of hippogriffs.
We keep walking and we see another yuanti troop. We take it on, and we are getting beat pretty good - the groups seem to be getting much bigger closer to the forest.
We continue and the trees loom. It is much darker inside. These trees are huge! It's not as dark as expected. And the sounds are crazy - birds and other, I assume, animal sounds. It is so dense that we need to lead the horses - hopefully they don't have too much trouble.
We manage to walk straight into an ambush! I notice that these yuanti are also "empty" feeling - that feeling of less that I noticed before. We don't start out very strong, but we manage to get it together after we kill the nightmare guy. After we camp for the night.
