We head up, and enter the town. We go to the market and after Vondal finds a new shield, some creepy guy beckons us to a dark corner with 4 more "people" in there. It appears that they are demons in Polly's book of keeping. And keeping it out of Asmodeus's hands. The demon mentions that Nevron's book of keeping would be safest with the General of Gihenna (a yugoloth) - He's freed himself from Granny and Polly.
Granny is the "first" of the hags and bound the books and the yugoloths to Asmodeus's will. The general stole the books to free them.
The general roams the abyssal plains of Gihenna.
They consider Polly to be a child.
Granny, Mother Darkness and Sinister Sarah - 3 books of keeping.
We walk back towards the Playful Vixen when we hear some groaning - we find Vondal's friend Guntor. We bring him to the Playful Vixen and yelling betrayal about the ragged fangs (Vondal's mercenary group). We manage to get him awake, and him and Vondal start talking about the old days. Guntor is saying something about Meagith having sold them to slavers, and that he is here with them. Vondal looks shocked and confused and angry. Guntor continues and says that this guy is Amruthar's general. We calm him down and bring him into the back room. Druuk arrives and is frustrated with Guntor and the news that the army's general is the same as their troop's. Druuk congratulated us on our mine attack.
After we are done planning, we head out.
We travel about halfway and rest for the night.
