19th of Mirtul, 1376, Year of the Bent Blade

 Centaur Greenpike leads us to the hag, Dread Polly. We travel for a half day into the forest. Greenpike suggests announcing ourselves before entering her abode, and to treat her as helpful, even when she doesn't seem to be, and dangerous, before he leaves. We advance to the clearing. We see a hut atop some giant chicken-like legs. We announce ourselves and she pops into existence to the left. She sniffs and says that I am cursed by the wereboars, Asmodeus, and something else. She proclaims me "interesting." Not sure how I feel about that, but maybe she'll help if she's interested?

She comes up with a task after proclaiming our things useless. At least the things that we would be willing to give up. The task is to capture the essence of will o' wisp, a nasty creature that haunts places of death and fear. I accept and we leave. I mention the evil tree, and Vandederp says he thinks it's about a day and a half away. Off we go! We stop and make camp for the night.


At the end f my watch, Vorest speaks to a gold sparrow, I would swear it had stars in it's eyes! It had a giant acorn. Vorest looks troubled as she starts her watch. She says that her god, Sh'a'riesh, needed her to plant the acorn.
